Hedwig

What Hedwig is

Your mail, calendar, tasks and documents as frames on one board, with an agent that reads the board the way you do.

Hedwig is an email client built around a board instead of a list of folders. Your inbox is a frame on it. So is your week, your to-dos, a document you are writing, a table you are filling, and, in the desktop app, a live web page. You arrange them, and the agent reads the same board you see.

The stage. Left: the rail (a mini-map of what is standing). Middle: the standing frames, packed for you, with the + among them. Right: the chat.

The one idea

Everything is a frame. Because the agent sees frames exactly as you do, you can point at things: “file these”, “reply to her”, “put that on Friday”. Frames also feed each other — wire a mail frame into a report and the report reads that mail.

Staged, never sent

Every draft the agent writes lands in one outbox and stays there until you press send — there is no other path out. Calendar and task changes appear as dashed ghosts you apply or dismiss. The agent proposes; you decide.

It sits on top of your mail

Hedwig sits on top of Gmail and Google Calendar (and Outlook): same mail, new surface. Nothing is migrated. Archive here, it is archived there. Disconnect whenever you like and everything is exactly where you left it.

Three ways to look at one board

A board opens on your conversation with Hedwig: ask, and the frames you are talking about rise into the thread, live and workable. The stage is the board itself, its standing frames packed into a clean composition. The frame editor is the same board as an infinite canvas where you draw, wire and free-arrange. Same frames, same agent. Chatting with Hedwig · The stage · The frame editor.
