Hedwig

Agents: standing jobs

Give Hedwig a job that keeps running: a morning brief, a watch on new mail, a check every hour. It messages you in its own chat.

An agent is Hedwig with a standing job: a conversation that keeps working when you are not in it, even with the app closed. Ask for one in a sentence and confirm the card it proposes.

“every weekday at 8, brief me on class mail and what is due”

“tell me when a client emails about an invoice”

“check my support inbox every hour and make todos for anything urgent”

What an agent is made of

JobWhat it is for, in your words.
Looks atThe mail and calendar accounts you give it, and any frames you point it at. Nothing else.
WakesAt a time of day (every day, weekdays, or chosen days), every 10 minutes to 24 hours, when new mail arrives, or when you say run now.
SpeaksAfter every run, or only when something needs you. Quiet days keep it silent.
Can doMake todos, add events, draft replies, or just tell you.

Its chat

Every agent has a chat in the rail with a bell for new messages. Talk to it there to change how it works: “run at 7 instead”, “don’t message me on Fridays”, “never include newsletters”. Pause or resume it from the same place.

What it leaves you

Agents never send anything. Todos and events wait on its home board for your Apply; drafts wait in the AI Outbox. Its runs count as agent turns on your plan.
